What to put in your message

A good brief saves a day of back and forth. If you can, include:

  • What you want to happen, and what happens instead. Error messages and screenshots help.
  • The system involved: WHMCS version, PHP version, hosting or control panel, and whether it is live.
  • Your deadline, and whether the work can start on a staging copy.
  • Anything already tried, and who built the existing customizations.
