Issuer, valid-from and expiry dates, days remaining and every name the certificate covers, from public Certificate Transparency logs (Cert Spotter, with crt.sh as a fallback).
DNS Records
A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, TXT and CAA records, resolved over Cloudflare DNS-over-HTTPS.
Email Deliverability

SiteScout has no server of its own and stores nothing. To build the report it sends only the domain name of the page you choose to inspect to public lookup services: Cloudflare DNS, Cert Spotter (with crt.sh as a fallback) and RDAP. Nothing about you, your browsing or your identity is collected.

Gives temporary access to the current tab only, after you click the icon, to learn which site to inspect and read its timings and headers. Access ends when you navigate away or close the tab.
Runs one small function bundled with the extension in the current tab after your click. It reads performance timings and the page's response headers, and never reads or changes page content, forms or cookies. No remote code is run.
Limited to four public lookup services: cloudflare-dns.com (DNS), api.certspotter.com (SSL), crt.sh (SSL, fallback only) and rdap.org (domain registration). SiteScout contacts no other service.

Is SiteScout really free?
Yes. It is completely free, with no account, no paid tier and no upsell.
Does it collect any of my data?
No. SiteScout has no server of its own, no analytics and no telemetry, and it stores nothing. To build the report it sends only the domain name of the page you inspect to public lookup services: Cloudflare DNS, Cert Spotter (with crt.sh as a fallback) and RDAP. IP addresses, localhost and internal hostnames are never sent. Full details are in the privacy policy.
Will it slow down my browsing?
No. It does nothing in the background and never runs on pages by itself. It works only at the moment you click its toolbar icon.
Which sites can I scan?
Any public website. Open the tab you want to inspect and click the icon. Pages on an IP address, localhost or an internal name show the parts that do not need a public lookup.
