Working together
How a project runs before you commit to anything.
Which service do you need?
Find the row that describes your situation. Each page it points to states the scope, the process, what I need from you and what I will not do.
| Your situation | Where to go | What you will find |
|---|---|---|
| WHMCS cannot do something your business needs | WHMCS custom module development | Provisioning, gateway, addon and registrar modules, specced in writing and tested in staging. |
| WHMCS has to talk to another system | WHMCS integration and automation | CRM, alerts, accounting and control panels connected through the API and hooks. |
| You are moving WHMCS to a new server, host or version | WHMCS migration | A rehearsal, a planned cutover and a way back. |
| Your website should take orders in a conversation | AI Mode website development | A front door that asks, recommends and orders, with your pages still there for search. |
| You want support questions answered by an assistant | AI chatbot development or AI agent development | What each can do safely, what it costs to run and where a person must stay in the loop. |
| You want a big project built fast with AI agents, by someone who reviews every line | Hire a Claude Code developer | How I build with Claude Code and Codex, what speeds up and what does not, and the guardrails. |
| You have a product idea that needs logins, billing and an admin panel | SaaS development | How the first version is scoped, built and handed over. |
| Your customers should have an app on their phone | Mobile app development | Android and iOS from one codebase, the backend behind it and what the app stores require. |
| Your company needs a new website, store or booking site | Web design and development | How I choose the platform, what a build includes and case studies. |
| Your sales or delivery process does not fit an off-the-shelf CRM | Custom CRM development | When to build and when to buy, and what a first version contains. |
| You need a working CRM next week, not next quarter | Custom CRM in 7 days | What fits in 7 days, how it is tested and what the guarantee covers. |
| People copy data between tools by hand | Automation development | Which processes are worth automating and how failures are handled. |
| You run or are starting a hosting company | Web hosting expert or start a hosting business | Infrastructure decisions, reviews and the order of work for a launch. |
| You have a steady flow of work and want one developer on call | Monthly developer retainer | Tiers, prices, what is covered and how urgent work is handled. |
What do you no longer sell?
I no longer sell basic installations, control panel setup or one-off error fixes as services of their own. An AI assistant, the vendor's installer or a host's support desk handles those well today, and they cost less than a developer. If your whole need is "install this" or "this page shows an error", try one of those first.
What remains is the work that still needs a person who has done it before: deciding what to build, writing custom code against systems with poor documentation, changing a live billing system without losing data, and being answerable for the result. The same routine steps are still done when they belong to a larger project, at no extra line on the quote.
What do you not do at all?
I do not work with nulled or pirated software, and I do not edit WHMCS core files. I do not build bots for bulk unsolicited messaging, scrapers that break a site's terms, or automation that moves money without a person approving it. Where a request falls outside the list above, I tell you on the call.
How does a project start?
It starts with a few lines about the problem, sent through the project form, and a free scoping call of about 30 minutes. A written quote follows within one business day: a fixed price for a defined scope, or an hourly estimate at $55 to $65 per hour. Work is done in a staging copy and not on your live system, with a progress update every day and two weeks of support after delivery. The terms are set out on how I work.
Who is behind these services?
One person. I am Shahid Malla, based in Baramulla, India, with 13+ years of client work and 900+ projects, including 200+ custom WHMCS modules. I am also CTO at ElySpace, a hosting company, a freelance developer for Marmaids LLC, and the founder of WHMCSPilot.com, which sells premium WHMCS modules and themes, and of MagizAI, an AI chatbot and live chat. Where one of those ties matters to a recommendation, the page says so. You can see the work in the portfolio and read more about me.
Frequently asked questions
Which service should I start with if I am not sure?
Start with whichever problem is costing you money or customers today. Describe it in a few lines through the project form, or book the free scoping call of about 30 minutes. I will tell you which page applies and whether I am the right person for it. If I am not, I say so on the call.
Do you only work with WHMCS?
No. WHMCS is where I have done the most work, with 200+ custom modules, but the same skills carry over. I also build SaaS products, mobile apps for Android and iOS, complete business websites, custom CRM systems, workflow automation, and AI chatbots and agents. Each has its own page with scope, process and limits.
Do you still install WHMCS or fix small errors?
Not as a separate service. A basic installation, a panel setup or a one-line PHP error is work that an AI assistant, the vendor's installer or your host's support desk now handles well, and you should not pay a developer's rate for it. I take the work that needs design decisions, custom code and someone accountable for the result. Installation and configuration are still included when they are part of a larger project, such as a hosting business launch or a migration.
Do you build complete websites?
Yes. I design and build complete business websites, online stores and booking sites, and the web designer and developer page explains how. For businesses in Kashmir there is a separate local page, because I can meet in person there.
How do you price the work?
Either a fixed quote for a written scope or $55 to $65 per hour. The free scoping call of about 30 minutes comes first, and the written quote follows within one business day. Work happens in a staging copy, and two weeks of support after delivery are included. The details are on how I work.
Do you use AI in your own work?
Yes, and I say so. AI tools speed up drafting, test writing and code review, which is one reason small tasks no longer need a developer. What you pay me for is the part a tool does not own: deciding what to build, checking that it is correct against your live system, keeping it upgrade-safe and being answerable when something breaks.
