WHMCSBuddy Expiry Date and Server Fix Module for WHMCS
Find and fix broken due and expiry dates, map servers to locations and move services between servers in bulk, from one WHMCS admin page.
What does WHMCSBuddy do?
It repairs the service records WHMCS bills from. After an import from another billing system, a server move or a script that went wrong, you often find services due in 1970, domains expiring before they were registered and accounts still pointing at a server you switched off. WHMCS makes you fix those one screen at a time. WHMCSBuddy finds them in one scan and fixes them in bulk, and it handles server assignment for new and existing services as well.
What does the expiry date scan look for?
It reads hosting services, domains and addons, filtered by status and by a next due date range, at quick, standard or deep depth. Progress shows while it runs and you can stop it at any point. It flags dates from 1969 or 1970, which usually mean a zero timestamp, empty and 0000-00-00 dates, dates before 2020, due or expiry dates earlier than the signup date, and expiry dates that differ from the next due date by more than 7 or 30 days.
Each finding gets a severity from low to critical and a proposed date worked out from the signup date and the billing cycle. You tick the ones to fix and apply them together, either from that calculation or as the next due date minus a number of days you choose. A second bulk action sets the status of the selected services.
What is included?
| Page | What it does |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Totals for services, invalid dates, servers and mapped locations, quick actions and recent activity |
| Expiry date analyzer | Scan, rank and bulk-fix due and expiry dates, plus bulk status updates |
| Server locations | Map servers to a location option so accepted orders land on the right server |
| Server reassignment | Per-server stats and service list; move one service or many to another server |
| Bulk product and server | Filter by product, server, status and creation date, then change the product or server |
Every bulk change is written to the module's activity log with the number of records it touched.
How does location-based server assignment work?
You map each server to a location name and, if you like, to a product configurable option. When an order is accepted, the module reads the customer's choice in an option whose name contains location, datacenter or region, finds the matching server and assigns the service to it, but only if that server is enabled in WHMCS.
Who is it for?
Hosting and IPTV businesses with enough services that one-by-one edits no longer work: teams cleaning up after an import or a merger, operators retiring a server, and anyone who sells in more than one location.
What do you need, and what are the limits?
Requirements: WHMCS 8.x (confirmed at purchase), PHP 7.4 or newer, and the license key entered in the addon settings.
Limits: product, server and status changes update the WHMCS records only. They do not move hosting accounts between servers or run suspend, unsuspend or terminate commands on a panel. Changes are logged but cannot be undone from the module, so take a database backup and try a small filtered group before a large run.
It costs $49 once for a lifetime license with twelve months of updates and support, an instant download and license key, and a seven-day refund window.

Frequently asked questions
Does changing a service's server move the hosting account too?
<p>No. Reassignment changes which server WHMCS has on record for the service, which is what you need after the accounts have already been moved. Moving the accounts themselves is a separate migration job on the servers.</p>
How does WHMCSBuddy decide that a date is wrong?
<p>It flags dates in 1969 or 1970, empty and 0000-00-00 dates, dates before 2020, dates earlier than the signup or registration date, and expiry dates far from the next due date. For each one it proposes a date from the signup date and billing cycle, and you choose which fixes to apply.</p>
How is this different from your Bulk Edit tool?
<p>WHMCSBuddy repairs dates and server assignments. My Bulk Edit and Mass Update Tool handles prices, package moves, renewal extensions, suspensions, emails and custom fields, with a dry-run preview and undo. They cover different jobs, so the two can run side by side.</p>
