About this package
This package builds a Next.js blog or content site connected to a headless CMS such as Sanity, Strapi or Payload, for publishers, documentation teams and founders writing in public who want comfortable editing without a stack of plugins to update. Writers work in the CMS; readers get fast article pages that stay quick as the archive grows into thousands of posts.
The writer's side
Writers draft in a clean editor with headings, images, embeds and code blocks. On Business they preview a draft exactly as it will appear and schedule it for a future date. Each article carries its author, date and category on every plan, and Premium adds tags, series and related posts so readers move from one article to the next.
The reader's side
- Next.js renders each article on the server with a table of contents and readable typography.
- Publishing triggers a webhook that refreshes only the changed article and the lists it appears in.
- RSS and the XML sitemap come from the same content on every plan; Business adds article structured data, search across articles and a newsletter signup to your email tool.
- Premium adds comments or reactions and checks Core Web Vitals before launch.
Coming from WordPress or Markdown
Premium imports your existing posts, with images, authors and categories, and maps every old URL to its new address with permanent redirects, so links from other sites and search results keep working. Business and Starter start with an empty archive that you or your team fill.
The site deploys to Vercel or a server in your name, and the code lives in your repository. CMS plans above their free tier and newsletter tool fees are billed by those companies. I do not write the articles; content stays your team's work.

I have built websites, WHMCS modules and web apps for clients since before AI coding tools existed. Today I build with AI-assisted tools and review every change myself, which is why fixed prices here are lower than an agency's for the same scope. I work while the US, Canada and Australia sleep, so each morning there is progress on your staging link.

Questions about this package
Does the CMS charge a monthly fee?
It depends on the CMS and your team size. Sanity and Storyblok have free tiers that suit small teams, while Strapi and Payload are open source and can run on your own server. I suggest one from your number of writers and budget before we start.
Will moving from WordPress cost me search traffic?
Premium is built to protect it: posts keep their slugs where possible, every changed URL gets a permanent redirect, and titles and descriptions carry over. Search engines can take a few weeks to settle after any move, and I cannot promise rankings, but the usual causes of lost traffic are handled.
Can writers, editors and admins have different permissions?
Yes, through the CMS's own roles. Writers can draft but not publish, editors can review and publish, and admins manage settings. The exact roles available depend on the CMS and its plan, which I explain when recommending one.
How ordering a package works
-
1
Choose a plan
Pick Starter, Business or Premium and pay once by card, PayPal or crypto. The price on the page is the price.
-
2
Send your content
A project opens for your order. Send your text, logo, photos and any logins I need there.
-
3
I build it
I build on a private staging link you can open on your phone, with updates as I go.
-
4
Launch and handover
After your approval the site goes live on your domain, and every login is yours.
One-time price, no monthly fee from me
You pay for the build once. Your domain and hosting are registered in your name and renewed with your hosting provider, who bills you directly. I add nothing on top, and the site keeps running whether or not you hire me again.
What I do not build
Gambling and adult websites, and sites that sell content without the rights to it. Need something not listed? Ask for a custom quote.
