What I built

CloudByteHost runs a cPanel hosting business across several servers. I designed the WHMCS automation layer that sits between their billing and those servers.

The work covered a custom provisioning module that talks to the cPanel servers, automation for plan changes, billing reconciliation between WHMCS and the servers, and a client portal that gives customers one place to manage their services instead of several panels. Accounts from a previous provider were moved in batches, and each batch was checked before the next one started.

The challenge

Billing in WHMCS and accounts on several cPanel servers had drifted apart.
Customers from a previous provider had to be moved without losing service or invoices.

How I solved it

A custom WHMCS provisioning module for the cPanel servers, with automation for plan changes.
Billing reconciliation that compares WHMCS services with the accounts on each server.
A client portal for self-service, and a migration tool that moved accounts in verified batches.

The outcome

Sign-ups, invoices, provisioning and renewals run through WHMCS without manual steps.
