Cudo Compute GPU and CPU Cloud Module for WHMCS
Resell Cudo Compute GPU and CPU virtual machines from WHMCS, billed by the hour from prepaid credit with your markup added.
What does the Cudo Compute module do?
It makes Cudo Compute the upstream for a GPU and CPU cloud product you sell under your own brand. Cudo Compute rents virtual machines, with or without GPUs, in a list of data centers you can query through its API. This module talks to that API from WHMCS, so orders, power actions and billing all run from your own install. Inside WHMCS the module is listed as CUDOS.
At checkout the customer chooses a data center (or any data center), a machine type with or without a GPU, the number of GPUs, vCPUs, memory, boot disk size and an operating system image. They can also paste an SSH public key, a startup script and a security group. The cart checks the vCPU, memory and GPU numbers against the limits of the chosen machine type before the order goes through. The VM is then created on Cudo with a generated password, saved encrypted on the WHMCS service.
How is usage billed?
Cudo charges by the hour, so the module bills the same way. The WHMCS product itself is free; customers keep prepaid account credit, topped up through a credit product that ships with the module. When a VM is created, the module reads its hourly price from Cudo, adds your markup (a fixed amount or a percentage per hour) and deducts the first hour. A cron job that runs every five minutes deducts each following hour from the customer's credit.
If the credit runs out, the VM is stopped and the service suspended, and a top-up starts it again. If the service stays suspended past the grace hours you set, it is terminated. A daily job emails low-credit reminders at three points you choose, counted in days of credit left, and you can require a minimum balance before anyone orders without buying credit.
What is included?
| Area | What the module handles |
|---|---|
| Setup | One click creates the configurable options and custom fields on the product |
| Catalog | GPU models and machine types per data center refreshed daily from Cudo |
| Customer controls | Start, stop, reboot, browser VNC console, copy-ready SSH command |
| Firewall | Security groups with inbound and outbound rules by protocol, ports and IP range |
| Upgrades | Larger boot disk, more vCPUs or memory, with the VM stopped first when Cudo requires it |
| Admin view | VM status, IP address, hourly cost of vCPUs, memory, disk and IPv4, CPU and memory graphs |
| Billing | Hourly credit deduction, markup, grace period, three low-credit reminders |
Who is it for?
Hosting companies and resellers who want to offer GPU servers for AI training, inference or rendering, or plain CPU machines, without owning the hardware. Because billing is prepaid and hourly, it suits customers who run short jobs and stop paying the moment the VM is gone.
What do you need, and what are the limits?
Requirements: WHMCS 8.13, PHP 8.1 or newer, a Cudo Compute account with an API key and a project, outbound HTTPS from WHMCS to the Cudo API, and a cron job every five minutes for usage billing (the exact command is shown in the addon settings).
Limits: billing is credit based rather than a monthly invoice per server; disks can grow but not shrink; one Cudo project serves the whole WHMCS install. You pay Cudo for every VM your customers run, and prices and stock depend on Cudo.
It costs $199 once for a lifetime license with twelve months of updates and support, an instant download and license key, and a seven-day refund window.

Frequently asked questions
Do customers pay for Cudo usage by the hour?
<p>Yes. The WHMCS product is free and customers keep prepaid credit in their account. The module takes the VM's hourly price from Cudo, adds your fixed or percentage markup and deducts one hour at a time. A cron job every five minutes handles the deductions, and customers top up through the credit product that comes with the module.</p>
Can customers order GPU servers as well as CPU-only machines?
<p>Yes. The order form lists the machine types Cudo offers in each data center, including GPU models, plus a No GPU choice for CPU-only machines. That list is refreshed daily, so new GPU models appear and ones that are no longer available drop out. Customers then set the GPU count, vCPUs, memory and disk within the limits of the chosen type.</p>
What happens when a customer's credit runs out?
<p>The VM is stopped and the service is suspended. When the customer adds credit, the service starts again and billing resumes. If it stays suspended longer than the grace hours you set, the VM is terminated. Before it gets that far, the module sends up to three low-credit reminder emails at the points you choose.</p>
