About this package

An independent pharmacy gets a website here with a product catalog, order and refill inquiries, and store pickup or local delivery requests. Customers check what you stock and ask for it before they visit, and prescription medicines never pass through a shopping cart.

Catalog versus prescriptions

Over-the-counter, wellness and personal care products appear in a catalog with photos and short descriptions, up to 100 on Starter and 1,000 on Business. Prescription medicines are handled differently: the customer sends an inquiry, and your pharmacist reviews it and confirms by phone. On Business, refill requests collect the customer's name, contact and the medicine exactly as written on the label, and a prescription image, if sent, is emailed to the pharmacy rather than stored on the server. Customers then choose store pickup or local delivery.

When Premium is worth it

Premium suits a pharmacy that wants to sell non-prescription items outright. It adds online checkout for those items only, delivery zones with fees, branch pages with their own stock notes, and booking for services such as vaccinations or blood pressure checks. Prescription items stay inquiry-only on every plan.

Regulation sits with your licence

Online sale of medicines is regulated, by state boards of pharmacy in the US, provincial colleges in Canada and the TGA and pharmacy boards in Australia. You confirm what your licence allows to be listed, priced or sold before launch, and I build to that. Product information comes from you or the manufacturer; I do not write dosage or medical guidance. Patient privacy obligations under HIPAA, PIPEDA or the Australian Privacy Act remain the pharmacy's; the build helps by not keeping prescriptions or health details on the website.

I have built websites, WHMCS modules and web apps for clients since before AI coding tools existed. Today I build with AI-assisted tools and review every change myself, which is why fixed prices here are lower than an agency's for the same scope. I work while the US, Canada and Australia sleep, so each morning there is progress on your staging link.

Questions about this package

Can prices for over-the-counter products be hidden?

Yes. On Starter and Business, the catalog can show products without prices, with an inquiry button instead. Premium, which adds checkout, needs prices on items sold online, but you can still hide prices on any product you prefer to sell only in store.

Can the catalog stay in sync with our point-of-sale stock?

Not automatically within these plans. Stock and prices can be updated by CSV export from most pharmacy POS systems, which takes a few minutes. Live syncing depends on your POS vendor's API and is quoted separately once I know which system you use.

How does a customer know their refill is ready?

Your pharmacist confirms each refill request by phone or email, as you do now, and tells the customer when it is ready for pickup or delivery. The site sends an instant acknowledgment that the request arrived, without repeating the medicine name in the email.

How ordering a package works

  1. 1

    Choose a plan

Pick Starter, Business or Premium and pay once by card, PayPal or crypto. The price on the page is the price.

  2. 2

    Send your content

A project opens for your order. Send your text, logo, photos and any logins I need there.

  3. 3

    I build it

I build on a private staging link you can open on your phone, with updates as I go.

  4. 4

    Launch and handover

After your approval the site goes live on your domain, and every login is yours.

One-time price, no monthly fee from me

You pay for the build once. Your domain and hosting are registered in your name and renewed with your hosting provider, who bills you directly. I add nothing on top, and the site keeps running whether or not you hire me again.

What I do not build

Gambling and adult websites, and sites that sell content without the rights to it. Need something not listed? Ask for a custom quote.
