WHMCSServer movePanel switch
About this package
This package moves a licensed IPTV operator's website and WHMCS billing to new hosting, or switches the billing to a new panel, while customers keep their logins and expiry dates. It is for operators leaving slow or unreliable hosting, replacing an outdated site, or moving from Xtream UI to XUI or another panel.
Moving the billing side
I copy WHMCS and the website to the new server and test them there through a hosts-file entry while the old server keeps taking payments. configuration.php moves with its encryption hash, the license is reissued for the new IP, and at cutover the cron is switched off on the old server before it runs on the new one, so no customer gets two invoices or two suspensions.
Switching panels
On Business, the module is repointed to the new panel and expiry dates are compared on a sample of accounts after the move. Bouquet IDs rarely match between panels, so I map each old bouquet to its new one before any line is touched. Premium imports lines into the new panel where it accepts them, keeping usernames and passwords; if the streaming hostname stays the same, devices keep working without customers changing a thing.
- Starter: website and WHMCS to new hosting, cron and emails retested, SSL and DNS cutover.
- Business: plus a WHMCS upgrade, the panel switch and redirects for changed URLs.
- Premium: plus line import, a site redesign, record counts before and after, and two weeks of fixes.
Not in scope
I move billing, the website, the module and line records. Stream sources, servers that deliver content and the panel installation itself belong to you and your panel vendor, and content you sell must be licensed. More on the method is on the WHMCS migration page.

I have built websites, WHMCS modules and web apps for clients since before AI coding tools existed. Today I build with AI-assisted tools and review every change myself, which is why fixed prices here are lower than an agency's for the same scope. I work while the US, Canada and Australia sleep, so each morning there is progress on your staging link.

Questions about this package
Will customers need to re-enter details on their devices?
Not if their username and password come across and the streaming hostname stays the same. If you are changing that hostname, devices need the new URL, so I plan a notice email and a client area banner, and the portal shows the updated details from the moment you switch.
Can my old panel keep working while you build the new setup?
Yes. The old WHMCS and panel keep running and billing until cutover. I build and test against the new panel with test lines, then switch the module in one step during a quiet hour, so there is no period where nobody can renew.
My old WHMCS is very outdated. Is that a problem?
Usually not, but it adds steps. I move it on its current version first, then upgrade in stages if the gap is large, checking the module and templates after each step. An install old enough to need a PHP version the new server lacks is planned before you order.
How ordering a package works
-
1
Choose a plan
Pick Starter, Business or Premium and pay once by card, PayPal or crypto. The price on the page is the price.
-
2
Send your content
A project opens for your order. Send your text, logo, photos and any logins I need there.
-
3
I build it
I build on a private staging link you can open on your phone, with updates as I go.
-
4
Launch and handover
After your approval the site goes live on your domain, and every login is yours.
One-time price, no monthly fee from me
You pay for the build once. Your domain and hosting are registered in your name and renewed with your hosting provider, who bills you directly. I add nothing on top, and the site keeps running whether or not you hire me again.
What I do not build
Gambling and adult websites, and sites that sell content without the rights to it. Need something not listed? Ask for a custom quote.
