About this package
This package puts your Laravel app on an Ubuntu VPS that you own, with Nginx, PHP-FPM, a database, SSL, queue workers, the scheduler and a repeatable deploy, for an app that still runs on a laptop or is updated by copying files over FTP. The server is on DigitalOcean, Hetzner, AWS or a similar provider, billed to you.
What is running when I hand over
Nginx serves the app through PHP-FPM, with MySQL or PostgreSQL on the same machine, or on a separate database server with Premium. SSL comes from Let's Encrypt and renews by itself. Queue workers run under Supervisor so they restart after a crash, and the Laravel scheduler runs from cron. On Business and Premium, Redis handles cache and queues, SSH accepts keys only, the firewall opens only web and SSH ports, and the database is backed up daily to storage away from the server.
How a deploy works
On Business and Premium a deploy pulls your Git branch into a new release folder, installs dependencies, runs migrations, then switches a symlink, so users never land on a half-updated app and the previous release is one command away. Premium adds a GitHub Actions pipeline that runs your tests before every deploy and stops the release if they fail, plus uptime and error monitoring and a Horizon dashboard for queues.
Checklist before I call it finished
- The app loads over HTTPS on your domain and a test email arrives.
- A queued job runs and the scheduler fires on time.
- You or your developer complete a deploy from the written notes without my help.
Server, backup storage and domain fees go to those providers in your name. Fixing bugs inside the application code is a separate package.

I have built websites, WHMCS modules and web apps for clients since before AI coding tools existed. Today I build with AI-assisted tools and review every change myself, which is why fixed prices here are lower than an agency's for the same scope. I work while the US, Canada and Australia sleep, so each morning there is progress on your staging link.

Questions about this package
Can you use Laravel Forge or Ploi instead of a hand-configured server?
Yes, if you prefer. Forge or Ploi run on your own subscription, and I configure the server, sites, workers and deploy script through it. That makes later changes easier for a non-specialist, at the cost of a monthly fee. Without a panel, everything is documented in plain shell commands instead.
Which hosting provider should I choose?
For most Laravel apps a mid-size VPS from Hetzner, DigitalOcean or Vultr is plenty, and AWS makes sense if you already use it. I suggest a size from your traffic and queue load, and you create the account in your company's name so billing and ownership stay with you.
Will I be able to deploy without you afterwards?
Yes, that is part of the acceptance check. The deployment notes list each command, and on Premium a push to your main branch deploys automatically once tests pass. Your developer can run a deploy while I watch before handover, so you know it works without me.
How ordering a package works
-
1
Choose a plan
Pick Starter, Business or Premium and pay once by card, PayPal or crypto. The price on the page is the price.
-
2
Send your content
A project opens for your order. Send your text, logo, photos and any logins I need there.
-
3
I build it
I build on a private staging link you can open on your phone, with updates as I go.
-
4
Launch and handover
After your approval the site goes live on your domain, and every login is yours.
One-time price, no monthly fee from me
You pay for the build once. Your domain and hosting are registered in your name and renewed with your hosting provider, who bills you directly. I add nothing on top, and the site keeps running whether or not you hire me again.
What I do not build
Gambling and adult websites, and sites that sell content without the rights to it. Need something not listed? Ask for a custom quote.
