About this package
This package builds the server side of a mobile app in NestJS and PostgreSQL: the API your Flutter, React Native, Swift or Kotlin screens call, sign-in, user profiles, push notifications and a small admin panel for your team. It suits a mobile team that has designed the screens and needs a backend it does not have to babysit.
Built for phones, not browsers
Phones keep old app builds installed for months, so the API is versioned from day one and older releases keep working after you ship new endpoints. Responses carry only what a screen needs, which matters on slow mobile connections. Sign in with Apple and Google sits alongside email login, and Premium adds phone number login by one-time code.
- On Business, push notifications go out through Firebase Cloud Messaging and APNs, with device tokens stored per user and dropped when they expire.
- App Store and Google Play purchase receipts are checked on the server on Business and Premium, so an unlocked feature reflects a real payment.
- Rate limits and abuse controls stop a single device from hammering sign-up or password reset.
The admin panel
On Business and Premium your team looks up users, edits content the app displays and sends announcements without a database client. Premium adds background jobs and scheduled tasks, such as daily digests, plus an endpoint for analytics events from the app.
When it counts as delivered
Your mobile developer can complete sign-up, sign-in, profile edit and, on Business, receive a push on a real device using only the OpenAPI docs. Tests for the main flows pass, and on Premium the Docker and CI setup deploys a fresh build. Apple and Google developer accounts, Firebase, SMS costs for one-time codes and app store review are yours; I prepare the server side they require.

I have built websites, WHMCS modules and web apps for clients since before AI coding tools existed. Today I build with AI-assisted tools and review every change myself, which is why fixed prices here are lower than an agency's for the same scope. I work while the US, Canada and Australia sleep, so each morning there is progress on your staging link.

Questions about this package
Why not just use Firebase or Supabase?
For a simple app they are often enough, and I will say so. A custom backend makes sense when your business rules get complex, when you want SQL reporting on your data, or when per-read pricing starts to hurt. You also avoid being tied to one vendor's database and rules language.
Do you build the mobile app screens too?
Not in this package; it covers the server, the admin panel and the documentation your app developer works from. I coordinate directly with your Flutter, React Native or native developer during the build, and I can test endpoints from a simple client so nobody waits on the other.
How do in-app purchase checks work?
When the app reports a purchase, the server confirms the receipt with Apple or Google before unlocking anything, and listens for renewal and refund notifications from both stores. That way a refunded subscription loses access on its own. Store fees and the products themselves are set up in your developer accounts.
How ordering a package works
-
1
Choose a plan
Pick Starter, Business or Premium and pay once by card, PayPal or crypto. The price on the page is the price.
-
2
Send your content
A project opens for your order. Send your text, logo, photos and any logins I need there.
-
3
I build it
I build on a private staging link you can open on your phone, with updates as I go.
-
4
Launch and handover
After your approval the site goes live on your domain, and every login is yours.
One-time price, no monthly fee from me
You pay for the build once. Your domain and hosting are registered in your name and renewed with your hosting provider, who bills you directly. I add nothing on top, and the site keeps running whether or not you hire me again.
What I do not build
Gambling and adult websites, and sites that sell content without the rights to it. Need something not listed? Ask for a custom quote.
