For an app, marketplace or community where users need to message each other without refreshing. The Node.js server uses Socket.IO rooms for conversations, authenticates each socket with the same token as the rest of your app, and writes every message to the database before broadcasting it, so history survives a dropped connection.
When you run more than one server, the Redis adapter passes events between instances, so two people connected to different servers still see each other's messages. Anything missed while offline is fetched on reconnect.

You pay for the build once. Your domain and hosting are registered in your name and renewed with your hosting provider, who bills you directly. I add nothing on top, and the site keeps running whether or not you hire me again.
What I do not build
