WHMCS website and storefront for an IPTV subscription service

A custom WHMCS theme I built for xplaypulse, an IPTV subscription service: plan pages, device setup guides, a reseller program page and the client area.

What I built

xplaypulse sells subscriptions to an IPTV service for live TV, movies and series on smart TVs, streaming sticks, phones and computers. The streaming platform and its apps come from Setplex. I built the website, and WHMCS runs all of it: the pages, the store, the checkout and the client area.

The site is a custom WHMCS theme on top of Nexus, with its own dark design. The home page explains the service and shows the plans, including a free trial, with order buttons into the WHMCS cart. A features page covers live TV with a program guide, catch-up, movies and series on demand, viewer profiles and parental controls. A devices page has setup guides for Fire TV, Samsung, LG and Hisense, Android, Apple devices, Roku and the web. A reseller page explains the credit-based program and takes applications. The site states that the login appears on screen right after payment and is also sent by email.

What a subscription storefront in WHMCS needs, from building this one: keep the plans and the checkout in WHMCS, so prices and renewals live in one place; put the setup steps next to each device, because that is where new customers get stuck; state the limits of a free trial on the plan card; and show the login right after payment instead of only sending it by email.

I build software and websites. I do not sell IPTV content, channels or streams.

The challenge

Take a customer from choosing a plan to watching on their own device, with every step inside WHMCS.

How I solved it

A custom WHMCS theme on Nexus for every page, the store and the client area.
Features, device setup and reseller pages built as WHMCS pages.
Plans and a free trial sold through the WHMCS cart.

The outcome

The site is live at xplaypulse.com.

Tech stack

WHMCS PHP Smarty HTML and CSS JavaScript
