Customer Feedback, CSAT and NPS Module for WHMCS

Clients rate you and leave a message in the WHMCS client area, while your team works through an inbox with CSAT or NPS scores and trends.

WHMCS Built for WHMCS 9 PHP 8.1+

What does the feedback module do?

It adds a "Share your feedback" page to the WHMCS client area. A signed-in client gives a rating, picks a category, can tie the feedback to one of their own services, domains or tickets, and writes a message. Two tick boxes, both off by default, let them allow your team to contact them and allow you to quote their first name. Below the form, clients see their earlier feedback, its status and any reply your team chose to show there.

The same page lists your public review profiles, such as Trustpilot or Google, for every client whatever rating they gave. Nobody is filtered out before being asked for a public review, which those platforms do not allow. You choose the scale in the settings: a five-point star rating for CSAT, or 0 to 10 for NPS.

How does it keep the feedback clean and private?

Every submission carries the WHMCS security token. Daily limits apply per client and per visitor address, and the address itself is never stored: only a keyed hash, deleted after two days. Repeated identical feedback is refused, and HTML in messages is rejected. Links in ticket follow-up emails are signed and expire, and they only pre-fill the form, so the client still has to be logged in and press send.

Feedback emails go only to clients who ticked the WHMCS marketing opt-in and have not opted out of email. Activity logs hold ids, counts and statuses, never feedback text, replies or addresses. Seven starter categories are created on activation, and you can add, reorder or switch them off.

Who is it for?

Hosting companies and other WHMCS businesses that want feedback in one place instead of scattered across tickets and emails, and teams that report a CSAT or NPS number to management. It also suits anyone who wants more public reviews while showing the review links to every client equally.

What do you need, and what are the limits?

Requirements: WHMCS 9, PHP 8.1 or newer, and the WHMCS cron for the daily clean-up. Access is given per admin role, and a setting names the full-admin roles that may export, change settings, send invitation batches and delete feedback.

Limits: there are no file uploads in feedback. The module links to your review profiles but does not post anything to Trustpilot or Google. The client page template was written for a custom WHMCS 9 client area theme, so on a different theme it needs template and language changes to match.

It costs $199 once for a lifetime license with twelve months of updates and support, an instant download and license key, and a seven-day refund window.

Frequently asked questions

Does it show the review links only to happy clients?

<p>No. The review links appear for every client, whatever rating they gave. Showing them only after a good score is review gating, which Google and Trustpilot do not allow. Low ratings still reach your team through the inbox and the optional admin alert, so you can follow up in private as well.</p>

Will it email clients who never agreed to marketing email?

<p>No. Ticket follow-ups and invitation batches go only to clients with the WHMCS marketing opt-in ticked who have not opted out of email. Ticket follow-ups are off by default and are sent at most once per client within a cooldown you set. The dashboard card is shown inside the client area and sends no email at all.</p>

What happens to old feedback after a while?

<p>A daily cron job deletes the message, notes, replies and tags once feedback is older than the number of months you set, 24 by default. The rating, category and date stay, so your scores and trends keep working. Set the value to 0 if you want to keep the text, and full admins can also run the clean-up by hand.</p>
