FreedomPilot Operations Suite for WHMCS

One WHMCS module for automation rules, MRR and churn reports, lifecycle workflows, bulk actions with undo and an optional AI ticket assistant.

WHMCS 8.13 PHP 8.1+

What does FreedomPilot add to WHMCS?

An operations layer for hosting teams that have outgrown the daily tools in the standard WHMCS admin. Rather than buying one module for automation, another for reports, a third for bulk changes and a fourth for event hooks, then hoping they cooperate, you install a single module whose parts share data and permissions. It has its own operations console, separate from the regular admin pages so day-to-day screens stay quick, and it improves the onboarding, renewal and account health screens your customers see in the client area.

What is included?

AreaWhat you get
AutomationVisual if-this-then-that rules covering orders, tickets, payments and services
LifecycleSequences that welcome new customers, prompt them before renewal and try to win back those who leave
ReportingMRR, churn, lifetime value, cohorts and a health score for every customer
MonitoringLive dashboard of alerts, work queues and SLA timers
ControlsBulk changes with a preview run first and undo afterward, plus permissions set per admin role
IntegrationWebhook bus: other systems sign up for whichever WHMCS events they need
AITicket sorting, suggested reply drafts and customer insights, on an AI key from your own account

I keep adding features, and they reach you while your support year is active.

Who is it for?

Hosting companies held back by daily admin work rather than by finding new customers. Typically that means roughly 500 or more active services, more than one admin on shift, and a wish to see recurring revenue and churn without building a spreadsheet every month. It also fits help desks that want tickets sorted and replies drafted, and teams that want order, payment and ticket events pushed into their CRM, reporting software or in-house tools. If you only need one of these jobs, a single module costs less: my bulk edit module or notification hub may be enough.

How is it set up?

Upload the files, run the included database migration and decide what each admin role may do. If you run Redis, point the queue and cache at it; if you do not, both live in the WHMCS database. Enter an OpenAI or Anthropic key only when you plan to use the ticket assistant. From there you draw your first rules in the visual builder, switch on the welcome, renewal and win-back sequences you want, and tell each outside system which events to receive.

What do you need, and what are the limits?

Requirements: WHMCS 8.13 and PHP 8.1 or newer. Redis is optional on small installs; above roughly 500 active services I recommend it firmly, since rules are processed far quicker with it than with the database. The AI key is optional, and OpenAI or Anthropic bill its usage to you directly.

Limits: the AI writes drafts and sorting suggestions for your staff to check, and those features stay off without a key. An install that needs only one tool will get more value from a standalone module.

The Regular license costs $299 once and ships encrypted; the Open Source license costs $999 and includes the unencrypted code, for teams that plan to connect FreedomPilot closely with in-house billing, CRM or BI software. Both are lifetime licenses with twelve months of updates and support, an instant download and license key, and a seven-day refund window. Support renewal after the first year is optional at $99 a year.

Frequently asked questions

Is Redis required for FreedomPilot?

<p>No. Without Redis, the queue and cache are kept in the WHMCS database, which is fine for smaller installs. Above roughly 500 active services I strongly recommend Redis, because rule processing is much quicker with it.</p>

Do the AI features cost extra?

<p>Not from me. The ticket assistant runs on an OpenAI or Anthropic key from your own account, so the provider bills the usage to you. If you leave the key out, every other part of FreedomPilot still works.</p>

Should I buy FreedomPilot or a single module?

<p>Buy FreedomPilot when you need several of its jobs at once, such as automation, revenue reporting and bulk changes, and want them sharing the same data and permissions. If you need only one, a standalone module like my bulk edit tool costs less and is simpler to run.</p>
