Helium (HNT) Crypto Payment Gateway for WHMCS

Customers pay WHMCS invoices in HNT straight to your own wallet, with a locked rate, QR codes and on-chain checks before an invoice is paid.

WHMCS 8.x (confirmed at purchase) PHP 8.1+

How does the Helium gateway work?

It turns your Helium wallet into a payment method on WHMCS invoices. When a customer clicks Pay with Helium on an unpaid invoice, the module fetches a live HNT exchange rate for the invoice currency, locks it, and shows the HNT amount, a QR code for mobile wallets and a payment reference. The customer has 30 minutes to pay at that rate; after that the amount is quoted again.

The customer sends HNT from their own wallet with the reference attached. The module checks the blockchain for a transaction carrying that reference, waits for the number of confirmations you set, three by default, and only then marks the invoice paid. WHMCS runs any provisioning, the payment appears in the admin ledger, and the customer can follow the transaction status on the invoice page while they wait.

What is included?

MatchingPayment reference that ties each transaction to its invoice

TestingTest mode against testnet
ConversionOptional auto-convert to USDC through a supported DEX, off by default

Who is it for?

WHMCS businesses whose buyers already hold crypto, such as VPN providers, privacy-focused hosts and IPTV operators who hold the rights to the channels they sell (the module is payment software only and supplies no content). These customers pay from their own wallet without opening an account with a payment processor, and the funds arrive in your wallet instead of waiting on a processor payout. Because there is no processor, there is no processor fee taken from each payment.

What do you need, and what are the limits?

Requirements: WHMCS 8.x (I confirm the exact version with you at purchase), PHP 8.1 or newer, a Helium wallet to receive payments, outbound HTTPS from your server to the Helium API, and optionally a Helium API key. You do not need to run a Helium node.

Limits: the module accepts HNT only; if you want many coins through one processor, I sell a separate NOWPayments gateway. Crypto prices move, so the 30-minute rate lock is the window a customer has to pay before a new quote. The tax and legal rules on accepting crypto where your business operates stay your responsibility.

It costs $149 once for a lifetime license with twelve months of updates and support, an instant download and license key, and a seven-day refund window. The Regular license is encrypted. An Open Source edition at $449 ships unencrypted, so you can change the rate-lock window or refund workflow, or connect it to your own treasury tools. After the first year, updates and support renew at $39 per year if you want them.

Frequently asked questions

What if the HNT price changes before the customer pays?

<p>The rate is locked when the customer clicks Pay with Helium, and they have 30 minutes to pay at that rate. If they pay later, the module quotes a new HNT amount from the current rate, so the invoice total in your own currency stays the same.</p>

How does the module know which invoice a payment is for?

<p>Each invoice gets its own payment reference. The module looks on chain for the transaction that carries that reference, waits for your confirmation count, three by default, and then marks that invoice paid. You can test the full flow in test mode against testnet before going live.</p>

What is the difference between the Regular and Open Source licenses?

<p>The Regular license at $149 is encrypted. The Open Source edition at $449 ships unencrypted, so you can change things like the rate-lock window or the refund workflow, or connect it to your treasury tools. Both include one year of updates and support.</p>
