Abandoned Cart Recovery Emails for WHMCS
Spots WHMCS orders left unfinished and follows up with timed emails, discount codes and links that reopen the cart.
How does the module recover abandoned orders?
It notices when a shopper leaves a WHMCS cart without paying and sends them a series of follow-up emails with a link that restores the cart in one click. The shopper lands back at checkout with their products already selected, instead of having to configure the order from scratch.
You decide what each email in the sequence says and when it goes out. For the later emails, the module can generate a discount code to give hesitant buyers a reason to finish.
What is included?
- Automatic detection of abandoned carts
- Email sequences you can edit
- Discount codes generated for recovery offers
- Links that restore the cart in one click
- A/B testing of recovery emails
- Analytics and reports on recovered orders
How do I know if it is working?
The reports show how many carts were abandoned, how many came back and which emails did the work. A/B testing lets you send two versions of an email and see which subject line or offer gets more buyers to complete. Over a few weeks that tells you whether a discount is needed at all, or whether a plain reminder is enough. The result is extra revenue from visitors you already paid to attract, without buying more traffic.
What do you need, and what can it not do?
Requirements: WHMCS 8.13 is the version I test on, with PHP 8.1 or newer. WHMCS must be able to send email, since the follow-ups go out through it.
Limits: a recovery email needs an address to go to, so shoppers who leave before giving one cannot be contacted. The module does not fix the reasons people leave, such as confusing pricing or a slow checkout, and it does not replace a proper marketing email tool for newsletters. Keep the sequence short and relevant, and respect the email consent rules that apply to your customers.
License: $79, paid once, lifetime use. The first year of updates and support is part of the price, the download is instant, and refunds can be requested within seven days.

Frequently asked questions
When does the module treat a cart as abandoned?
<p>It detects abandonment automatically when a shopper starts an order in WHMCS and leaves without paying. From that point your email sequence begins, with each message going out on the timing you set. A one-click link in the email restores their cart, so they pick up where they stopped.</p>
Do I have to offer a discount?
<p>No. Discount codes are optional and can be generated just for recovery emails. Many shops start with a simple reminder and add an offer only to a later email. The A/B testing feature lets you compare a version with a discount against one without, so you can see whether the code is worth giving away.</p>
What does the $79 license cover?
<p>One payment buys a lifetime license, and the price already includes a year of updates and support. You receive the files and license key straight after checkout, and you have seven days to ask for a refund. The module continues working after the first year whether or not you renew.</p>
