How does the NOWPayments gateway work in WHMCS?
It adds NOWPayments as a payment method on your WHMCS invoices, so a customer can pick a coin, send the payment and have it verified without you checking a wallet by hand. NOWPayments is a crypto payment processor that handles the blockchain side and supports a long list of coins. My module connects WHMCS to its API.
At checkout the invoice amount is converted at the live exchange rate. Once the payment arrives, the gateway verifies it and sends WHMCS an instant notification, and you can follow each payment's status from WHMCS if a customer asks where their transaction is.

Which account and settings does the gateway need?
Requirements: WHMCS 8.13 (tested), PHP 8.1 or newer, and a NOWPayments merchant account with API credentials to paste into the gateway settings.
What it does not do: the module does not hold, convert or pay out funds itself. Coin availability, conversion and payouts are handled by NOWPayments under its own terms, and you are responsible for the tax and legal rules on accepting crypto where your business operates.
