Here is a website for a plumber, electrician, cleaner, locksmith or other local trade, designed for a customer standing in front of a leak or a dead fuse box with a phone in hand. The call button stays fixed at the bottom of the screen, the header names the towns you cover, and the booking form takes a photo of the problem.

Designed for the urgent visitor

The first screen says what you fix, where you work and whether you take same-day or emergency calls, stated plainly only when you really offer it. Each service lists what is included and, if you choose, a starting price, which cuts calls from people expecting a different budget.

From Starter to online bookings

Starter is a five-page site with the sticky call button, a quote or booking request form and your service area on a map. Business gives each service its own page, adds photo upload, your Google reviews and Google Business Profile setup. Premium turns requests into real bookings:

• Customers pick a free time slot, and booked slots disappear so two jobs never land at once.
• A call-out fee or deposit is taken by Stripe at booking, which reduces no-shows.
• Up to six town pages describe the work you do in each area.
• New leads reach you by email and by SMS, so a job request is seen even when you are on a roof.

Running costs to expect
