School Alumni Association Website

School, college and university alumni associations get a website from me where graduates register with their class year, find classmates, sign up for reunions and give to a scholarship fund. Most alumni groups are run by volunteers with little spare time, so the site does the routine work of collecting contacts and registrations.

Finding your year group

Graduates register with their name, class year and contact details, and on Business they opt in to a searchable directory that shows only what they agree to share. Each class year has a page with reunion news, photos and a list of registered classmates, which is often what brings people back: they look up their year, see familiar names and register. Reunion registration takes payment by card, and the scholarship giving form sends gifts to the association's own Stripe or PayPal account.

What changes on Premium

• Alumni log in and edit their own profile, job title and city, which keeps the directory current without a volunteer chasing updates.
• A mentoring signup lets alumni offer advice in their field, and the coordinator sees a matching list of mentors and students or recent graduates.
• An alumni job board lets graduates post openings at their employers.
• A newsletter signup feeds your email tool for regular class news.

Working alongside the school

If the school or university runs its own alumni office or database, agree with them what the association collects, to avoid duplicated data and mixed messages. Old class lists or records held by the school can only be imported if the school permits it and graduates consented. The scholarship fund's tax treatment and receipts follow the rules where it is registered.
