Nonprofit, NGO and Community Websites

Websites for nonprofits, NGOs, charities, faith communities, associations, foundations and alumni groups: online donations through Stripe or PayPal, volunteer and member signups, event pages, and an admin your volunteers can run without a developer. Plans start from $149 at a fixed price, on WordPress, with the payment and donation accounts held in your organization's own name.

Nonprofit, NGO and Community Websites: 8 packages

What does a nonprofit website need?

A clear account of the cause, proof of what the money does, and an easy way to give or help. Donors look for who runs the organization, where funds go and how to donate in under a minute, so the donate button stays visible on every page and the form accepts cards, wallets and PayPal on a phone without forcing an account.

What materials does your organization send?

Send your mission statement, logo, photos of your work with consent from anyone identifiable (especially children), board or team names, registration details and the payment accounts you will use. Stripe and PayPal accounts must be opened by the organization itself in its legal name, because payouts and identity checks are tied to that entity.

Which costs does the organization pay separately?

The organization pays separately for payment processing fees, domain and hosting, paid donation or event plugins, and donor CRMs such as Bloomerang or Little Green Light. Many of these providers offer nonprofit discounts you can apply for. Receipts can be emailed automatically, but whether a gift is tax-deductible and what a receipt must state are set by the rules where you are registered, so your organization and its accountant confirm that wording.

How ordering a package works

  1. 1

    Choose a plan

Pick Starter, Business or Premium and pay once by card, PayPal or crypto. The price on the page is the price.

  2. 2

    Send your content

A project opens for your order. Send your text, logo, photos and any logins I need there.

  3. 3

    I build it

I build on a private staging link you can open on your phone, with updates as I go.

  4. 4

    Launch and handover

After your approval the site goes live on your domain, and every login is yours.

One-time price, no monthly fee from me

You pay for the build once. Your domain and hosting are registered in your name and renewed with your hosting provider, who bills you directly. I add nothing on top, and the site keeps running whether or not you hire me again.

What I do not build

Gambling and adult websites, and sites that sell content without the rights to it. Need something not listed? Ask for a custom quote.

Ordering from the US, Canada or Australia

Most of my clients are in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia. Here is how an order works from those time zones.

Work happens while you sleep
I work from India. Your evening in New York, Toronto or Los Angeles, or your night in Sydney or Perth, is my working day, so each day's progress is waiting on your staging link when you start.
One price in US dollars
You pay the listed USD price by card, PayPal or crypto; your bank converts from CAD or AUD. My invoice from India carries no US sales tax, Canadian GST/HST or Australian GST. If your business has to self-assess tax on imported services, your accountant will tell you.
Payments your customers already use
Stripe, PayPal and Square work in all three countries. I connect the gateway you open in your own business name, so the money goes straight to you.
Hosting and domains in your country
Your site can sit in a US, Canadian or Australian data center, on a .com, .ca or .com.au domain registered in your name. Country domains have their own eligibility rules, which I check before you register.

Questions about nonprofit, ngo and community websites

Can donors give monthly?

Yes. On Business and Premium plans the donation form offers one-time and recurring gifts through Stripe or PayPal, with suggested amounts you set and a custom amount field. Donors get an email receipt using the wording you supply, and can cancel a recurring gift from a link.

Can volunteers or staff update the site?

Yes. I set up editor accounts with limited rights, so a volunteer can post an event or news item without being able to change payments or settings. Each plan includes handover notes, and Business and Premium add a recorded training session you can share with future volunteers.

Do you build for faith groups of any tradition?

Yes. The faith community package uses neutral sections such as gathering or prayer times, classes, events, giving and contact, and you choose the words and images that fit your community. I build and maintain the structure; the content and teaching it presents are entirely yours.
