About this package

This package builds a WHMCS theme for businesses that use WHMCS to bill something other than hosting: a web agency selling care plans and projects, or a software company selling licenses and subscriptions. Stock WHMCS talks about services, domains and servers everywhere, which confuses clients who bought a plugin or a monthly retainer.

Words and pages that fit your business

Language overrides rename the labels, such as Services to Subscriptions and Products to Plans, and the menus for domains and server status are hidden if you do not use them. Plan cards show monthly and yearly prices from WHMCS with the yearly saving, and seat or user counts come from a configurable option.

Licenses, downloads and quotes

Business adds the software side: the service page shows the license key, its status and the allowed domains or IPs from the WHMCS Licensing Addon, with a reissue button when you allow reissues, and links to the downloads attached to that product. For agencies, Business adds a quote page with a clear accept and pay flow and a changelog page for releases or site updates. Premium adds product or service pages on your website, a homepage edited from the addon and a care plan comparison table.

Before you order

License keys need the WHMCS Licensing Addon or a licensing module of your own, licensed separately. If you need a full subscription billing system outside WHMCS, the custom billing system packages fit better.

Questions about this package

Can WHMCS stop looking like a hosting billing system?

Mostly, yes. Language overrides rename the client area labels and the theme hides menus you do not use, so clients see subscriptions, plans and invoices. A few system emails and invoice line descriptions still use WHMCS wording, and I list those for you to edit in the email templates.

Do I need the WHMCS Licensing Addon?

Only if you sell software with license keys. Agencies selling care plans, retainers and projects do not need it, and the license panel is simply left out. If you already use a licensing module of your own, I can show its keys instead, provided it exposes them in the client area.

Can I sell monthly retainers and one-off projects in the same cart?

Yes. WHMCS handles recurring and one-time products side by side, and the theme labels each line clearly, so a client sees which items renew and which are billed once. A project can also start as a quote that the client accepts and pays from the quote page.

One-time price, no monthly fee from me

You pay for the build once. Your domain and hosting are registered in your name and renewed with your hosting provider, who bills you directly. I add nothing on top, and the site keeps running whether or not you hire me again.

What I do not build
