Cloudflare Zone and DNS Reseller Module for WHMCS
Create Cloudflare zones when an order is paid and give customers DNS, cache, page rules, WAF and SSL controls inside WHMCS.
What does the Cloudflare module let you sell?
Cloudflare protection and DNS as your own WHMCS product. Cloudflare is a network that sits in front of a website to provide DNS, caching, SSL and a web application firewall. With this module, a paid order creates the customer's zone through your Cloudflare API token, and from then on they manage it from your client area, under your brand, with nameservers such as ns1 and ns2 on your own domain.
Each Cloudflare plan (Free, Pro, Business, Enterprise) can be sold as its own WHMCS product at a price you choose, and moving to a higher plan raises a WHMCS invoice. You can bill per zone or offer unlimited zones.
Which controls do customers get?
| Area | What the customer can do |
|---|---|
| DNS | Add, edit and delete records of type A, AAAA, CAA, CNAME, MX, SRV and TXT |
| Cache | Clear single URLs, tagged content or the entire zone after confirming |
| Page rules | Create, edit, reorder and delete, within plan limits |
| Security | WAF and firewall rule editor on Pro and Business plans |
| SSL | Flexible, Full or Strict mode, with certificate status |
| Analytics | Request counts, cache hit ratio, and how much bandwidth was served from cache |
On the admin side you get DNS templates for new zones, bulk DNS changes, support for more than one Cloudflare account, an overview of every customer zone, and an audit log of each change customers make.
Do I need to join a Cloudflare partner program?
No. A standard Cloudflare API token is enough. Very large operators, in the region of 5,000 zones or more, should apply for Cloudflare's Tenant program, and the module supports that setup as well.
What do you need, and what is not covered?
Requirements: WHMCS 8.13 (tested), PHP 8.1 or newer, a Cloudflare account and an API token with Zone Edit permission pasted into the module settings.
Limits: the module focuses on DNS, cache, page rules, WAF and SSL. Cloudflare Stream and R2 are not managed by it today. Cloudflare's own plan pricing and terms still apply to the zones you sell.

Frequently asked questions
Can I sell only some Cloudflare plans?

Yes. Choose any combination of Free, Pro, Business and Enterprise, and list each one as a separate WHMCS product priced however you like. When a customer moves up a plan, WHMCS raises the invoice for the upgrade, so billing stays in one place.

Can customers use my brand's nameservers?

Yes. The module supports white-label nameservers, so customers point their domain to names like ns1 and ns2 on your own domain rather than Cloudflare's assigned nameservers. Combined with the client area controls, the service looks and feels like part of your hosting.

Does it manage Cloudflare Stream or R2?

No, not at present. The module concentrates on DNS records, cache purging, page rules, WAF and firewall rules, SSL settings and traffic analytics. If you need Stream or R2 managed from WHMCS, contact me before buying so we can talk about what is planned.
