About this package

This package builds a branded Android and iOS app for your hosting company where clients sign in with their WHMCS details and see their services, invoices, support tickets and domains. It suits hosting providers and resellers who run WHMCS and want customers to check a due date or answer a ticket without opening a laptop.

How the app talks to WHMCS

WHMCS API credentials carry admin-level power, so they never go inside the app. A small Laravel bridge on your server holds them, checks each client's login through the ValidateLogin action and returns only that client's own records, using calls such as GetClientsProducts, GetInvoices, GetTickets and GetClientsDomains. The API role is limited to the actions the app needs, and the bridge rate-limits login attempts. Replies go in through AddTicketReply, so your staff keep answering from the normal WHMCS admin.

Paying invoices and placing orders

Pay buttons open the invoice in your WHMCS client area through a single sign-on token, so your existing gateways, credit balance and tax settings all keep working. On Premium, clients also order products and domains from your WHMCS catalog, search for a domain, change nameservers and request upgrades; each order is created in WHMCS and paid on its invoice. Store reviewers sometimes question payment flows in hosting apps and their decision is final, so I check the current guidelines before submitting.

Push that follows WHMCS events

On Business and Premium, WHMCS hooks for new invoices, payment reminders and staff ticket replies send a push to the right client's phone. A customized client area theme does not get in the way, because the app uses the API rather than your templates. Data from a third-party module that the WHMCS API does not expose needs the custom module extra. More on connecting WHMCS to other systems is on WHMCS API integration.

I have built websites, WHMCS modules and web apps for clients since before AI coding tools existed. Today I build with AI-assisted tools and review every change myself, which is why fixed prices here are lower than an agency's for the same scope. I work while the US, Canada and Australia sleep, so each morning there is progress on your staging link.

Questions about this package

Does the app work with my custom WHMCS theme and modules?

Yes for the theme, because the app reads data through the WHMCS API and never loads your templates. Standard provisioning modules such as cPanel, Plesk and DirectAdmin work as they are. A third-party module whose data is not in the API needs an extra endpoint on the bridge, which the custom module extra covers.

Can clients pay invoices without leaving the app?

The pay button opens the WHMCS invoice page in a secure in-app browser, already signed in through a single sign-on token, so clients pay with the gateways you already use. A fully native payment screen is possible but would duplicate your gateway setup, and store rules for paying for hosting can vary, so I recommend the WHMCS invoice page.

What happens when I upgrade WHMCS?

The bridge uses documented API actions, which WHMCS keeps stable between versions, so routine updates should not affect the app. Before a major upgrade, test it on a staging copy with the app pointed at it. If an action changes, the fix is on the bridge, so clients do not need to update the app.

How ordering a package works

  1. 1

    Choose a plan

Pick Starter, Business or Premium and pay once by card, PayPal or crypto. The price on the page is the price.

  2. 2

    Send your content

A project opens for your order. Send your text, logo, photos and any logins I need there.

  3. 3

    I build it

I build on a private staging link you can open on your phone, with updates as I go.

  4. 4

    Launch and handover

After your approval the site goes live on your domain, and every login is yours.

One-time price, no monthly fee from me

You pay for the build once. Your domain and hosting are registered in your name and renewed with your hosting provider, who bills you directly. I add nothing on top, and the site keeps running whether or not you hire me again.

What I do not build

Gambling and adult websites, and sites that sell content without the rights to it. Need something not listed? Ask for a custom quote.
