VPN Customer Dashboard

This package builds a customer dashboard for a VPN provider where subscribers download ready config files, add phones by scanning a QR code, and revoke a lost device on their own. It is for providers whose customers need more than a billing page, and whose support inbox fills with people asking for their config again.

Configs and devices

A customer picks a location and protocol and downloads a config: a .conf file for WireGuard or an .ovpn file for OpenVPN with the certificates embedded. On Business, adding a device creates a WireGuard key pair and a QR code for the phone app. The private key is shown once and not kept on the server; only the public key is stored, so a database leak does not expose working configs. If a customer loses the file, they add the device again.

• Each device is listed by the name the customer gave it, with the date it was added.
• Revoking a device removes its peer or certificate without affecting the others.
• The VPN password is separate from the account password, so a router config can be rotated without locking anyone out of billing.

Who each plan is for

Starter gives customers a login with config downloads per location and their plan and renewal date, with a link to billing. Business adds QR codes, the device list with revoke, the separate VPN password and support tickets. Premium is for providers selling to teams: an owner assigns seats, each member chooses a protocol per device, announcements appear on the dashboard, two-factor login protects accounts, and a security review closes the build.

How it fits your stack

The dashboard is a Laravel app that reads plan status from your billing system and talks to your VPN backend through its API or database. Your servers, protocols and apps stay as they are. You will find related work in the VPN website packages.
