WHMCS or LaravelFreeRADIUSWireGuard
About this package
This package sets up subscription billing for a VPN provider, on WHMCS or a custom Laravel system, that creates the customer's VPN account when they pay, disables it when an invoice goes overdue and restores it on payment. It is for providers still creating users by hand after each sale and switching people off from a spreadsheet.
How provisioning talks to your backend
The billing side calls whatever controls your VPN users. With FreeRADIUS, the module writes the user to the radcheck table with a Simultaneous-Use attribute, so the server itself enforces the device limit. With WireGuard behind a management API, a key pair is created per device and the peer is added to the right interface. Your own management API works the same way, as long as it can create, disable and enable a user.
- Overdue invoices disable access without deleting anything, so a late payer keeps the same configs.
- Monthly, yearly and multi-year cycles run on Business, with card and crypto gateways.
- Renewal reminders and failed payment emails go out on the schedule you set.
From a single server to several regions
Starter fits a provider with one backend and up to four plans. Business adds server-enforced device limits, longer billing cycles, both gateway types and admin buttons to reset a VPN password or resend login details. Premium connects several backends or regions, handles prorated upgrades and family or team plans with seats, and shows usage figures where your backend records them. A security review closes the Premium build, because this system holds payment state and VPN credentials together.
Choosing WHMCS or Laravel
WHMCS brings invoicing, tax rules and tickets out of the box, and its license is yours to pay. A Laravel build has no license fee and suits app store receipts or unusual plans. Gateways open accounts in your company name and decide approval themselves.

I have built websites, WHMCS modules and web apps for clients since before AI coding tools existed. Today I build with AI-assisted tools and review every change myself, which is why fixed prices here are lower than an agency's for the same scope. I work while the US, Canada and Australia sleep, so each morning there is progress on your staging link.

Questions about this package
How exactly is the device limit enforced?
With RADIUS, the server counts active sessions against the Simultaneous-Use value and refuses one more. With WireGuard, each device has its own key, so the limit is the number of keys a customer may create. Accounting must be working on your RADIUS server for session counts to be accurate; I check it during setup.
What happens when a renewal card payment fails?
Billing retries the card on the days you choose and emails the customer each time with a link to update it. Access stays on through a grace period you set, then the account is disabled, not deleted. A successful payment at any point turns it back on within a minute.
Can I add a new protocol later, such as IKEv2?
Yes, if the new protocol authenticates against the same backend. IKEv2 with EAP against your RADIUS server uses the same users, so nothing changes in billing. A protocol with its own user store needs another provisioning step, which I quote when you plan it.
How ordering a package works
-
1
Choose a plan
Pick Starter, Business or Premium and pay once by card, PayPal or crypto. The price on the page is the price.
-
2
Send your content
A project opens for your order. Send your text, logo, photos and any logins I need there.
-
3
I build it
I build on a private staging link you can open on your phone, with updates as I go.
-
4
Launch and handover
After your approval the site goes live on your domain, and every login is yours.
One-time price, no monthly fee from me
You pay for the build once. Your domain and hosting are registered in your name and renewed with your hosting provider, who bills you directly. I add nothing on top, and the site keeps running whether or not you hire me again.
What I do not build
Gambling and adult websites, and sites that sell content without the rights to it. Need something not listed? Ask for a custom quote.
