About this package
This package cleans a hacked website of malware, spam redirects and hidden backdoors, finds how the attacker got in, and closes that route. It is for sites that send visitors to spam pages, show a deceptive site warning in Chrome, send junk email, or have admin users nobody created.
Where infections hide
I verify WordPress core and plugin files against their official checksums with WP-CLI, so any changed file stands out. Then I search themes, plugins and uploads for obfuscated code such as eval with base64_decode, check .htaccess for redirects that only trigger for mobile visitors or search engine referrers, and look through the database for injected scripts, spam links and rogue admin accounts.
- Backdoors often sit in the uploads folder or in mu-plugins, where few people look.
- Scheduled tasks can quietly reinstall malware, so WordPress cron events are checked too.
- On a shared hosting account, every other site on it is a possible source of reinfection.
Closing the door
Starter removes what is visibly infected, deletes rogue users and changes passwords and security keys. Business goes further: a full backdoor search, the entry point found and closed, outdated plugins and themes updated, file permissions corrected and a review request sent through Search Console's security issues report. Premium adds a firewall, blocks PHP execution in upload folders, enables two-factor login for admins, helps with host and blacklist delisting, and rechecks the site after 30 days.
Limits
The common entry points are an outdated plugin, a nulled theme, or a reused password. Cleanup does not make a site immune, and Google decides how quickly a warning is lifted after review. If personal data may have been exposed, your legal obligations are a question for your advisor, not something I can assess. More on ongoing care is on the WordPress services page.

I have built websites, WHMCS modules and web apps for clients since before AI coding tools existed. Today I build with AI-assisted tools and review every change myself, which is why fixed prices here are lower than an agency's for the same scope. I work while the US, Canada and Australia sleep, so each morning there is progress on your staging link.

Questions about this package
My host suspended the account. Can you still clean it?
Usually yes. Most hosts give temporary SFTP or panel access for cleanup if you ask. I clean the site, document what was removed and how the entry point was closed, and give you that note to send with your request to lift the suspension.
Will my site be offline during cleanup?
Mostly not. Cleanup happens on the live files with a backup taken first. If the site is actively harming visitors, for example redirecting them to scams, I put up a maintenance page for the hours it takes, then bring it back clean.
Do I need to rebuild the site from scratch?
Rarely. Core, plugins and themes are replaced with clean copies, and your content stays. A rebuild only makes sense when custom theme code is so tangled with injected code that replacing it is quicker, and I tell you that before doing it.
How ordering a package works
-
1
Choose a plan
Pick Starter, Business or Premium and pay once by card, PayPal or crypto. The price on the page is the price.
-
2
Send your content
A project opens for your order. Send your text, logo, photos and any logins I need there.
-
3
I build it
I build on a private staging link you can open on your phone, with updates as I go.
-
4
Launch and handover
After your approval the site goes live on your domain, and every login is yours.
One-time price, no monthly fee from me
You pay for the build once. Your domain and hosting are registered in your name and renewed with your hosting provider, who bills you directly. I add nothing on top, and the site keeps running whether or not you hire me again.
What I do not build
Gambling and adult websites, and sites that sell content without the rights to it. Need something not listed? Ask for a custom quote.
