PHPWHMCS Module APIThird-party API

About this package

This package delivers a custom WHMCS module written in PHP that connects a product WHMCS cannot handle on its own to your billing, so orders are provisioned on payment, suspended when overdue and terminated on cancellation. It is for hosting companies and service sellers whose product has no ready module: a niche control panel, a VPN or IPTV panel, a software license server or a domain registrar.

What goes inside a provisioning module

A provisioning module is a PHP file in modules/servers with functions WHMCS calls at fixed moments: CreateAccount, SuspendAccount, UnsuspendAccount and TerminateAccount on every plan, then ChangePackage and ChangePassword on Business. ConfigOptions defines the product settings your staff fill in, and configurable options from the cart are passed through to the remote API, so a customer who picks 4 GB of RAM or 10 seats gets exactly that.

  • Each remote call goes through logModuleCall, so the module log shows the request and the reply when something fails.
  • Business adds a client area page with service details and up to four custom buttons, such as reboot or reset password.
  • A daily cron task on Business compares each service's status with the remote system and flags any mismatch.

Addon and registrar modules

Premium adds an addon module with its own admin page for settings and reports, single sign-on so a client clicks once to reach the remote panel, usage metrics that WHMCS can bill, and support for several servers. Registrar modules follow the same approach with RegisterDomain, TransferDomain, RenewDomain and the nameserver functions.

Before you order

Starter assumes one API with clear documentation and a sandbox. If the remote service has no API for an action, that action stays manual and I say so up front. API accounts and fees on the remote side are yours. Related work, including modules already built, is listed on the custom module development page.

I have built websites, WHMCS modules and web apps for clients since before AI coding tools existed. Today I build with AI-assisted tools and review every change myself, which is why fixed prices here are lower than an agency's for the same scope. I work while the US, Canada and Australia sleep, so each morning there is progress on your staging link.

Questions about this package

What if the remote API is poorly documented?

I test each call against the sandbox before writing the module around it, and log what the API actually returns rather than what the documentation claims. If a function turns out to be missing or broken, I tell you before going further, so you can ask the vendor or keep that step manual.

Can I sell the module to other WHMCS users?

Yes. You own the source and can sell or share it. Licensing checks, encoding and a WHMCS Marketplace listing are not part of this package; if you plan to sell it, tell me at the start so I keep vendor-specific settings out of the code.

Can one module handle several products from the same service?

Yes. A single module can serve any number of WHMCS products, each with its own settings in ConfigOptions, such as plan name, region or feature flags. You add a new product in WHMCS and pick values from the dropdowns, without touching code.

How ordering a package works

  1. 1

    Choose a plan

Pick Starter, Business or Premium and pay once by card, PayPal or crypto. The price on the page is the price.

  2. 2

    Send your content

A project opens for your order. Send your text, logo, photos and any logins I need there.

  3. 3

    I build it

I build on a private staging link you can open on your phone, with updates as I go.

  4. 4

    Launch and handover

After your approval the site goes live on your domain, and every login is yours.

One-time price, no monthly fee from me

You pay for the build once. Your domain and hosting are registered in your name and renewed with your hosting provider, who bills you directly. I add nothing on top, and the site keeps running whether or not you hire me again.

What I do not build

Gambling and adult websites, and sites that sell content without the rights to it. Need something not listed? Ask for a custom quote.
