About this package
This package builds a WHMCS payment gateway module for a provider WHMCS does not ship with, so your clients can pay invoices through it and WHMCS marks them paid only when the provider confirms the payment. It suits businesses using a regional card processor, a bank transfer API, a crypto processor such as NOWPayments or a local wallet.
The callback is the part that matters
Most broken gateway modules fail at the callback, not at checkout. Mine sit in modules/gateways/callback and do four things before any payment is recorded: verify the provider's signature, confirm the invoice exists with checkCbInvoiceID, compare the amount and currency with the invoice, and reject a transaction ID already on record with checkCbTransID. Only then does addInvoicePayment run, and every callback, accepted or refused, is written to the gateway log.
How far each plan goes
- Starter: a redirect or hosted checkout, signed callbacks, the duplicate check and a test mode switch.
- Business: refunds from the WHMCS admin, gateway fees recorded against the payment, multi-currency handling and a payment status page for the client, all tested in the provider's sandbox.
- Premium: a stored payment method so WHMCS can charge renewals automatically, recurring payments where the provider supports them, partial payments with overpayment credited, retry handling for repeated webhooks and a reconciliation report.
Card data and approval
I build gateways around hosted pages, hosted fields or tokens, so card numbers never pass through your WHMCS server, which keeps your PCI scope small. Your merchant account, its fees and its approval belong to the provider and you; I start once you have sandbox credentials and a live account is underway. For a broader view of gateway work, see the payment gateway integration page.

I have built websites, WHMCS modules and web apps for clients since before AI coding tools existed. Today I build with AI-assisted tools and review every change myself, which is why fixed prices here are lower than an agency's for the same scope. I work while the US, Canada and Australia sleep, so each morning there is progress on your staging link.

Questions about this package
What if a client pays but the callback never arrives?
Most providers retry webhooks for some time, and the module accepts a late one as long as it passes the checks. Premium adds a scheduled check that asks the provider about unpaid invoices with a pending payment, so a lost notification is caught. On any plan the gateway log shows what did and did not arrive.
Can the gateway take a currency my provider does not support?
Yes, through WHMCS's convert-for-processing setting. The invoice stays in the client's currency, the amount is converted at your WHMCS exchange rate for the provider, and the payment is recorded against the original invoice. I test it with a real conversion in the sandbox.
Can clients save their payment method for renewals?
On Premium, if the provider supports tokens. The provider stores the card or account and returns a token; WHMCS keeps only that token and charges it when renewal invoices are generated. On Starter and Business, clients pay each invoice through the hosted checkout.
How ordering a package works
-
1
Choose a plan
Pick Starter, Business or Premium and pay once by card, PayPal or crypto. The price on the page is the price.
-
2
Send your content
A project opens for your order. Send your text, logo, photos and any logins I need there.
-
3
I build it
I build on a private staging link you can open on your phone, with updates as I go.
-
4
Launch and handover
After your approval the site goes live on your domain, and every login is yours.
One-time price, no monthly fee from me
You pay for the build once. Your domain and hosting are registered in your name and renewed with your hosting provider, who bills you directly. I add nothing on top, and the site keeps running whether or not you hire me again.
What I do not build
Gambling and adult websites, and sites that sell content without the rights to it. Need something not listed? Ask for a custom quote.
