What should a car dealer website do?
It should move a shopper from browsing to a booked test drive or a call about one specific vehicle. That takes a stock list shoppers can narrow down by brand, body style, budget and age, a vehicle page with plenty of photos and the full spec list, and a form that tells you which stock number the lead is asking about.
For garages, rental desks and detailers the goal has a different shape: a customer picks a service or a car, picks a time, and you receive a booking instead of a missed call.
Which automotive package should you choose?
| Your business | Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A used car lot | Used car dealer inventory website | Stock search with filters and a lead form tied to each vehicle |
| A franchise or new car showroom | New car showroom website | Model ranges, trims, offers and test drive booking |
| A rental fleet | Car rental booking website | Dates, pick-up location, live availability and a deposit online |
| A garage or detailing business | Auto repair or car wash booking website | Services with prices and time slots customers book themselves |
| A parts shop | Auto parts store website | Year, make and model fitment search before checkout |
What do I need to send you?
Start with the logo, business hours, location, and either a spreadsheet of current stock or a list of services with prices. If your inventory already lives in a dealer management system or a listing feed, send me its name and export options. A CSV or XML export is usually enough to import or sync, though some providers charge for feed access or ask you to request it first.
Which costs are left out of the package?
Domain, hosting, premium plugins, paid inventory feeds, VIN decoder or vehicle data subscriptions, SMS credits and payment gateway fees. Those accounts are opened in your name and the providers charge you directly. Finance calculators show example repayments only; they are not credit offers, and any finance wording on the site should be checked against your lender's requirements and local advertising rules.
How ordering a package works
-
1
Choose a plan
Pick Starter, Business or Premium and pay once by card, PayPal or crypto. The price on the page is the price.
-
2
Send your content
A project opens for your order. Send your text, logo, photos and any logins I need there.
-
3
I build it
I build on a private staging link you can open on your phone, with updates as I go.
-
4
Launch and handover
After your approval the site goes live on your domain, and every login is yours.
One-time price, no monthly fee from me
You pay for the build once. Your domain and hosting are registered in your name and renewed with your hosting provider, who bills you directly. I add nothing on top, and the site keeps running whether or not you hire me again.
What I do not build
Gambling and adult websites, and sites that sell content without the rights to it. Need something not listed? Ask for a custom quote.
Questions about car dealer and automotive websites
Can I add and remove cars myself?
Yes. Every plan includes an admin form where you add a vehicle with photos, price, mileage and features, and mark it reserved or sold in one click. You can also duplicate a listing for a similar car, which saves time when you take in several of the same model.
Can you import stock from my dealer management system?
On the Business and Premium plans of the inventory packages, yes, when your system can export a CSV or XML file or offers an API. I map its fields to the site and schedule the import. If the provider charges for feed access, that fee is paid to them directly.
Will my cars show up on Google?
Every vehicle page gets its own title, description and Car structured data, and the sitemap updates when stock changes. That helps Google read your inventory, but whether and where a page ranks is Google's decision, and nobody can honestly promise a position.
