What is the difference between an AI chatbot and an AI agent?
A chatbot answers questions, while an agent also takes actions. A chatbot trained on your pages and documents can explain your pricing or your returns policy. An agent goes a step further: it can look up an order, open a support ticket, book a call or update a CRM record, using only the tools and permissions I give it. Most businesses start with a chatbot and add actions once they trust its answers.
Where should you start with AI?
| Your goal | Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Answer visitor questions on your site | Website AI chatbot | Replies come from your own pages and files |
| Reply to customers on WhatsApp | WhatsApp AI chatbot | Runs on Meta's official API, not an unofficial workaround |
| Fewer repeat support tickets | AI support agent with handoff | Routine questions answered, hard ones passed to staff |
| Separate serious buyers from browsers | AI lead qualification agent | Asks your questions and books calls with good fits |
| Less manual CRM admin | AI agent connected to your CRM | Reads and updates records within set permissions |
| Support for a hosting company | AI chatbot for WHMCS | Knows your plans and checks a client's services |
| Staff searching for internal answers | Internal docs assistant | Private search with access by role |
| Claude or ChatGPT using your system | MCP server | A standard connector to your own tools |
What do I need to send you?
The material the AI should answer from (website pages, PDFs, help articles, price lists), the questions customers ask most, and what should happen when the bot cannot help: who receives the handoff and through which channel. You also open an account with the model provider, such as OpenAI or Anthropic, in your own name and add a payment method there, because they bill usage per request.
What is not included, and where does AI fall short?
AI answers can be wrong, even when the bot is trained on your content. I keep each bot to your material, test it against your real questions, and log conversations for you to review. Every bot says it is an AI, and every one can pass the chat to a person. Model and API usage, WhatsApp message fees charged by Meta, and hosting are paid by you to those providers. I do not build bots that give medical, legal or financial advice.
How ordering a package works
-
1
Choose a plan
Pick Starter, Business or Premium and pay once by card, PayPal or crypto. The price on the page is the price.
-
2
Send your content
A project opens for your order. Send your text, logo, photos and any logins I need there.
-
3
I build it
I build on a private staging link you can open on your phone, with updates as I go.
-
4
Launch and handover
After your approval the site goes live on your domain, and every login is yours.
One-time price, no monthly fee from me
You pay for the build once. Your domain and hosting are registered in your name and renewed with your hosting provider, who bills you directly. I add nothing on top, and the site keeps running whether or not you hire me again.
What I do not build
Gambling and adult websites, and sites that sell content without the rights to it. Need something not listed? Ask for a custom quote.
Questions about ai chatbots and ai agents
How much will the AI cost to run each month?
That depends on your chat volume and the model you pick, and the provider bills it to you directly, not through me. Before launch I estimate the figure from your expected conversations using the provider's published prices, and I set a monthly spending cap in your account so a busy week cannot produce a surprise bill.
Will customers know they are talking to an AI?
Yes, always. The first message states that it is an AI assistant, and the chat window shows a clear way to reach a person. Hiding that would damage the trust you are trying to build, and some places require disclosure by law, so check the rules where you operate with your own adviser.
Is my data used to train the AI model?
Your content sits in your own database or vector store and is sent to the model only as context for each answer. The API terms from OpenAI and Anthropic currently say API data is not used for training by default, but read their latest terms yourself, and never upload documents you are not allowed to share.
